On behalf of all residents of Gardens at Bishan condo staying in blocks facing the reservoir, we hope the developer will not totally block our views because most owners of these 2 blocks paid a premium price over market values because of the view.

Lim Teck Seng then how you handle owners that agree on a 2% commission but later say they do not want to pay and ask the agent to claim from a buyer?

I would say it is willing buyer & willing seller.

Would you pay peanuts to get a branded car? NO you wont, so if you only pay 1% for selling a HDB do you except the agent to market it well?

If the HDB is only worth $300k, then 1% would means only $3k commission and not forgetting the company would take a cut, marketing cost and agents do not have CPF, annual leave, MC, medical benefit etc.

In most cases, all owner should interview an agent and pay them 2% but ask the agent to show marketing prove.

Home owners only see the good side on how much they are paying for an agent. But may i ask, what happen to those agent after marketing a property for 3 months and itis still unsold?

Who is going to compensate the lost of the agents? Will the owner pay?

Will you home owners go and work for your boss and dont collect any salary till you show results?

Please stop complainting, there are always 2 sides to a coin.

I really doubt that the crowd it served will beable to afford what it is selling inside. Not to mention mustafa itself poses the largest threat. The place isn't a desirable shopping belt. I would suggest they convert it to a second sim lim square.
